The report "The war in Ukraine and the idea of the Russian order" by professor Wojciech Śleszyński is an attempt to an accessible explanation of the origins of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in all its complexity.
Russia's aggression against Ukraine is a logical consequence of the specific Russian way of looking at reality, which is centered around the idea of "Russian order”/ "Russian mir". "Mir" in Russian means peace, but also the order and the world, so it is a universal system that guarantees peace in the Russian way and in accordance with the interests of the Kremlin. What is particularly important today is that there is no place for a free Ukraine in the idea of "Russian order".
The study by professor Śleszyński makes it possible to learn the meanders of Russian historical policy - both the one from the Soviet era and the much earlier one, forged in the autocratic state of the tsars - without which it is impossible to understand the motivations of today's actions of Putin and his subordinates.
The publication was prepared in bilingual editions: Polish-Ukrainian and English-Spanish.

El informe "La guerra en Ucrania y la idea del orden ruso" del profesor Wojciech Śleszyński es un intento de explicación accesible de los orígenes del conflicto ruso-ucraniano en toda su complejidad.
La agresión de Rusia contra Ucrania es una consecuencia lógica de la particular forma rusa de ver la realidad, que se centra en la idea de "Mir rusa". "Mir" en ruso significa paz, pero también el orden y el mundo, por lo que es un sistema universal que garantiza la paz al estilo ruso y de acuerdo con los intereses del Kremlin. Lo que es particularmente importante hoy es que no hay lugar para una Ucrania libre bajo la idea de la Mir Rusa.
El estudio del profesor Śleszyński permite conocer los meandros de la política histórica rusa -tanto la de la época soviética como la muy anterior, forjada en el estado autocrático de los zares- sin los cuales es imposible comprender las motivaciones de las acciones actuales de Putin y sus subordinados.
